There are various Midlet Manager with different properties from different companies in the market. In some cases it is helpful to know, which Midelt Manager is installed on your devide.
Identification
Midlet Managers can usually be identified by their icon and their label text which is appearing in the mobile file explorer. Open the file explorer and compare the icons below with the icons in the list on your mobile device.
1. Tao Intent Midlet Manager
2. Esmertec JBED Midlet Manager
3. Aplix Corporation JBlend Midlet Manager
Depending on your mobile service provider you may also find other Midlet Managers.
Midlet Managers usually provide some About screen which provides information about the version number and the version date. This information is especially helpful in case of failures. The following two figures provide two example About screens.
